New change of deposit on all bookings. Hello everyone! Starting from January 1st 2024, we will be implementing a new policy regarding bookings. We kindly request a £100 deposit for all bookings, unless the total cost of the stay is less than £100. We understand that circumstances may change, so if you need to cancel your booking, you can do so within two weeks of the reservation to receive a full refund.
The reason for this change is that we have experienced a significant number of cancellations in the past, particularly due to guests not being able to bring their dogs along or feeling uncomfortable leaving them in unfamiliar places. We completely understand these concerns. Additionally, there have been instances where guests simply did not show up for their bookings, especially when the cost was only £20. Unfortunately, this has resulted in blocks of time where our accommodations remained empty, both in August and October, two of our busiest and most popular months.
Implementing this new policy is not only fair for us as a business, but it also allows us to accommodate more guests who have been patiently waiting on our cancellation list. We hope you all understand the need for these changes. Thank you!
